The overhead power lines. part2.

Once more some pictures of overhead power lines. Last time I used an old Pentacon FB and this time I shot with the Minolta 7000 AF in combination with the Sigma 3.5-4.5/28-80mm and for some pictures I attached a Rowi orange filter to the lens. The film was an expired Kodak Color+ 200.

I like a lot to take pictures from overhead power lines, because I like in some way these high towers and the linearity of the cables. It makes more fun to photograph them when the sky is full of dark clouds. In the last weeks I took some pictures from the same overhead power lines with the Pentacon FB and the Schacht Edixa-Travenar-A 2.8/50mm and at the second time with the Porst Super Weitwinkel 2.8/28mm.
The pictures seems like black&white, but I used an ordinary DM Paradies 200 color film. As I said before the weather was very gray and cloudy.

O ser humano está preso no sistema. Sem saída ele está interligado na rede da burocracia. Sem proteção, completamente nu, ele não pode se defender.
Ele perde qualquer sentimento e pensamento e talvez até mesmo a esperança.

the bureaucracy palimpsests

Today I printed five self-portraits on bureaucratic files in the size DIN A4 and one in the size DIN A3. 
I've printed on files from my university period...

First the triptych "sehr geehrter antragsteller bitte unbedingt beachten formblat 7".
The first and the third pictures are printed on bureaucratic files from the BAföG. The second picture is printed on a bureaucratic file from the ZVS.

One of the other two palimpsests is printed on the matriculation from the University of Essen (in the size DIN A3) and the other one once more on a bureaucratic file of the BAföG.

The circus of life - Salto Mortale

Some weeks ago I was at a circus in Indaial (SC), Brasil. I shot some pictures of the two female aerial acrobats. The first one worked with an aerial hoop and the other one hung on her own hair. Yes, this is really crazy.

I made some sandwich photomontage of several pictures.

The rejected concepts.

In 2009 I participated in the Pretexto Contemporâneo exhibition of the SESC Blumenau and this year I'll participate in the Pretexto do Vale of the SESC Blumenau.
The first meeting with the other artists and the curator was on september 24th, 2011 and today was the second meeting, where the artists presented their portfolios and possible concepts for the exhibition.
I made two concepts, but we decided that they aren't strong enough, that something is missing.
Okay, I'll reflect about another concept and hope that this will be better.
