The 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project. The exhibition in Blumenau.

Next month will start my solo exhibition at the Museu de Arte de Blumenau (MAB) in Blumenau (SC), Brasil. I'll show my concept Caçando almas (Hunting for souls), which is a part of the 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project.

The new palimpsests. The maps triptych.

Today I made more palimpsests on maps, because I liked the results last time. It´s now a triptych with maps from Madagascar, the Atlantic Ocean and the South of India with Sri Lanka.
The first and three photo are from my Woodman-Michals-tribute and the second photo is from the 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project.
"indischer ozean" ("indian ocean"), germany, 2018
"der atlantische ozean" ("the atlantic ocean"), germany, 2018
"arabisches meer" ("arabian sea"), germany, 2018

The 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project. the outsiders. part 6.

This time I tried an Agfa HDC+200 film out of an Olympus AZ-200 Super Zoom. I bought the camera at a junk store in Cologne. I put the film in a Minolta 5000 AF with the Sigma Zoom AF 2.8-3.5/75-200mm. In November I shot some pictures from the Rhine at a foggy day, it was a wonderful day.
But after the development only some pictures from the first photographer were on the negatives. Perhaps the film was too old to save my pictures.
The pictures from the first photographer seem to be pictures by a thief. First he shot his cleaning material, then people in a hall and at the end jewellery at a table. I need Sherlock Holmes to solve this mystery!

The 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project. the outsiders. part 4+5.

Until now I just found color negative films in cameras, but finally I found an East German Orwo NP20 black&white film in my Lomo LC-A. I think the film is more about 27 years old, therefore I shot it @ ISO 25.
I used the Voigtländer VSL 1 (TM) with a Helios 44-2 2/58mm, a Porst Super Weitwinkel 2.8/28mm lens, a A.Schacht Ulm Edixa-Travenar 2.8/85mm and a Vivitar Auto Thyristor 283 flash.
But as in the other outsider parts there aren't double exposures, but really cool pictures with a wonderful and smooth vintage look of the old Orwo film.
You can find here some digital pictures of the session, which I shot with my smartphone.

I've shot the next film after the Voigtländer film. It was a Fuji Superia 200, which I've found in a Ricoh AF-50 from a fleamarket. I've used the film with my Minolta X-300s and the awesome Minolta MC Rokkor-PG 1.4/50mm lens.
I think the film was very long unused in the camera, because the pictures are very dark, like in the outsiders. part 1. And once more there aren't double exposures on the film.

The 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project. the outsiders. part 2+3.

The 2-Cameras-Double-Exposure-Project is like a lucky bag, often you've got the luck of creating wonderful, strange and surreal looking double exposures, but sometimes shit happens and everything goes wrong.
At the first example I used an Agfa Vista 100 film out of a Canon AF 35 M II. I shot the film with my Minolta 7000 AF and the Minolta 3.5-4.5/35-70mm lens along with part 4.
I thought that some cool double exposures will be on the film, but after the development there were just normal and very dark pictures, that I've shot. It was a litte bit like in the outsiders. part 1.

At all parts before I did not know who the photographer was and what he photographed, but at this example, which I shot after part 6, I know both. The Praktica Nova IB with the aus Jena T (Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar) 2.8/50mm belongs to my girlfriend. She shot with the Praktica some landscape pictures on a Fuji Super X-TRA 400 film.
Then we put the film into a Nikon F-401 with a Tokina AF 3.5-4.5/28-70mm SD lens. Of course, we hoped that there will be cool double exposures, but at the end we had nearly the same result like at the first example of this post. Just one picture became very cool, but we had at the left side the picture, which my girlfriend shot and at the other side the picture I shot.

But it can get even worse...
At the last example, which I shot after the second example of this post, I was especially sad, because I hoped for a lot. I bought a bulky, but cool Hanimex Amphibian underwater camera. I was very surprised when I found the Konica SR-G 400 inside the camera.
Hanimex was a photographic brand in Australia, which sold under their name photographic equipment. Therefore I hoped that the camera was used at the Great Barrier Reef and that there are wonderful underwater pictures from this breathtaking place. Therefore I had great expectations.
I put the film into my spacy Olympus OM-101. I made wonderful pictures, but the film was empty after the development. The negatives were blank, just two negatives show something. Only a boring house in a dull area... Of course, I didn't shoot these pictures. I don't know why my photos aren't on the film...
