Ovid's dream.

In August my girlfriend and I visited a performance of the Theater Anu in Cologne. They've showed the piece "Ovids Traum" ("Ovid's dream"). It was really a fantastic show which was astonishingly for us. We enjoyed it a lot!!!
I shot some pictures, but the light meter of the Petri GX-1 didn't work perfectly. All the pictures which I shot with this camera are a little bit underexposed. I used the Petri 2/50mm with the camera and a Kodak 400 film.

Hoy viajamos a Brasil para conocer el trabajo de Fabricio Schmidt - PhotoArt
Fabricio Schmidt, nació y creció en Alemania y ha vivido en Brasil desde 2007. Él es un fotógrafo, artista visual y participó en eventos y exposiciones individuales y colectivas en Brasil y Europa. También he tenido varias publicaciones en revistas.
El foco principal de la misma es el uso y procesamiento de fotos en fotomontajes, collages e instalaciones, sino también en los procesos de impresión alternativos.
Uno de tales procesos alternativos de impresión es la técnica de palimpsesto.

El proyecto WIRRWARR 13 es sobre el amor de dos personas, que se encuentran atrapados en el espacio y el tiempo. Ellos no pueden ver, sólo se puede sentir. Sólo una distancia geográfica entre ellos. Una barrera para muchas personas por lo que ya es una razón para renunciar a una relación, pero para estas dos fotos no es una razón, porque cuando se siente el verdadero amor, entonces usted sabe que no tiene barreras ni fronteras o extremos. Con el tiempo las dos personas parecen que duermen, que crecen junto con su entorno como la Bella Durmiente. Tal vez esta historia de estas dos personas es también un relato de hadas, pero usted puede ver las fotos, que son documentos que aman, entonces son...

WIRRWARR 13 @ II BIG Bienal Internacional de Guarulhos do Pequeno Formato

WIRRWARR 13 @ Ufsctock festival - part 2

Today I brought my works of the WIRRWARR 13 series in the 20x30cm wooden frames to the UFSC.

The exhibition will be at three places of the campus, among others at the library. But I still don't know where my works will hang exactly. For more info take a look at the Ufsctock 2014 page.

Today a different version of photos ornamented with flowers, in fact without flowers, but with a page from the early 20th century German book "Der Arzt im Hause - Moderne Heilmethoden, Band II" ("The home doctor - Modern methods of healing, Volume II"), published by Dr. med. M. Rann.
The palimpsest consists of a nude self portrait and not like the other works before with portraits of my girlfriend and is printed on a book page, which shows drawings of Heilpflanzen (Medicinal plants).

Also I printed another self portrait on another page of the same book, but without flowers, but an eye with icterus, urolithiasis and gallstones.

Yesterday I made first this work with flowers and after this a triptych with some flowers, which I picked up in my garden and forest ;)
Each picture of the triptych includes following flowers:
_ 1x yellow flower of an Ipé amarelo
_ 1x purple flower of a bindweed
_ 1x big yellow flower of a large Ficus
_ 5x red-lila flowers of the Noble Dendrobium orchid
_ 7x purple flowers of a tendril
_ leaves from 2 different ferns

Today with two almost decomposed leaves, a purple flower out of the Mata Atlântica and an Iris.

WIRRWARR 13 – The tale of the female chupacabra

Once upon a time in the village of Carrapateira in the barren landscape of the Sertão Paraibano in the northeast of Brazil lived a young man, who was strong, clever and tough like a goat or as it was called there a cabra. His name was Zelão the son of the brave cangaceiro Capitão Herculano Villas-Bôas.

One day as Zelão took a bath in the creek in the canyons near to their camp, he was observed by a girl called Iara. She was hiding behind flowers and plants, looked quite fervently on him while her saliva ran out of her mouth. She crept cautiously to the shore, took off her dress and dived into the water. He stood with his back to her as she appeared between his legs, soared in front of him out of the water and snapped to his lips. Totally surprised after a perceived eternity of kissing he looked at her smile and fell in love with her. In the same moment she also fell in love with him. Instantly their lives changed. However, more than her life changed his life, because suddenly she attacked him, but not for kissing, yet for biting his neck, his chest, his belly, his hands, his legs, his penis and drinking all of his blood. Actually he should have died immediately, but the love of both saved his life and also hers, because the spell of the chupacabra broke away the second she looked at his lifeless body and a single tear of her dropped on his face. Embracing they dived into the water and were never seen again.

WIRRWARR 13

O projeto WIRRWARR 13 é sobre o amor de duas pessoas, que estão presos no espaço e no tempo. Eles não podem se ver, só podem se sentir. Só uma distância geográfica está entre eles. Pra muitas pessoas uma barreira assim já é uma razão pra desistir de uma relação, mas pra essas duas pessoas das fotos isso não é uma razão, porque quando você sente o amor verdadeiro, então você sabe que não tem barreiras ou fronteiras ou fins. Com o tempo as duas pessoas parecem que eles dormem, que eles crescem juntos com o seu ambiente como a Bela Adormecida. Talvez essa historia dessas duas pessoas também é uma conta de fada, mas você pode ver as fotos, que são documentos desse amor, então eles existem...

_Descrição da obra

As cinco obras da serie WIRRWARR 13 são fotografias que são imprimidos em papelão no tamanho 20x30cm. Quatro obras são horizontais e uma é vertical. Todas as cinco obras são colocadas em molduras de madeira com vidro.

_Como o trabalho deverá ser exposto

As obras precisam ser penduradas em uma parede ou em um biombo. Por causa das molduras de madeira com vidro precisa ser usados pregos pra pendurar elas.
