The camera I used was the Nikon EM of my girlfriend with a Tokina 4/35-70mm and the film was an expired Kodak Color+ 200.

Half-format means double fun!

Do you know half-frame cameras? It is a type of camera that uses normal 35mm film, but doesn't use the normal 24x36mm format, but the 24x18mm format. Therefore you get 72 frames from a normal 36-frames film. These cameras were very popular in the 1960s.
I bought a wonderful Fujica Half, a dream of a camera made in the 1960s. Today there are many retro cameras which copy the look of the wonderful cameras from the 1960s. But the original cameras out of this time are still more beautiful that the copies of today.
As first film I didn't want to use a 36-frame film, because I thought that 72 frames are a high number. Therefore I used a 12-frame Euro Activ Color 200 film, which is probably an Agfacolor HDC and is expired since 05/1997. I shot the film @ ISO 100.
I wanted to create picture couples, which means two pictures which are mirrored. At the end it was more difficult than you imagine, but it makes a great fun with wonderful results.

I've never used the APS film format, but in the last time I bought in a bundle an APS film and later in another bundle an APS camera and then once more in a bundle some APS films and a APS camera. So I had a pretext to discover the APS format.
In the Agfa Futura FF camera just was a partially exposed Agfa Futura II 200 film with 25 frames. As I turned on the camera, the display showed a 18 and that means that 18 frames just were shot. Sometimes I act headless and therefore I opened the filmdoor. I don't know why, but the camera rewinded the film and then pretended that the film was unexposed. I thought that this can't be happen with the APS format, but for me this was a great luck. After the film was developed resp. processed, I saw that the previous owner just double exposed the film! Therefore the film is now triple exposed!!!
I bought then a Traveler MRC camera at the Mimapi and put the film in it.

The following two photomontages I shot once more with the Pentax SFXn and a non-AF Vivitar 35-70mm lens on AgfaPhoto Vista+ 400 film.
They're just little photomontages and not in the style of the last montages. The scene is a public bookcase in the Rheinauhafen in Cologne.
The first photomontage consits of 4 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. The total size is 27x16cm and the second photomontage consits of 4 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm, too. The total size is 28x18cm.

After the last photomontage I had the idea to create new montages. For that idea I shot my girlfriend in the Rheinauhafen in Cologne. First in the direction of the Kölner Dom and then I just turned around and she went to the other direction. Of course I shot the surroundings, too.
But as I made the montages I used the wrong or opposite picture of my girlfriend for each montage.
The first photomontage consits of 10 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. The total size is 20x39cm and the second photomontage consits of 12 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. The total size is 28,3x40cm.
I shot the pictures with the Pentax SFXn with a non-AF Vivitar 35-70mm lens on expired Agfa Vista 400 film.

40 of 36.

40 of 36...what does that mean? It means that I made 40 pictures out of a 36 frames film. That's my personal record!!! I was very surprised as I saw the price and then the number 40. I get it with the Canon AF 35 M II and a Fuji Superia 100 film.
