In this case it is a photograph from my grand-grand-grandmother. The picture is from 1890 - 1910, the size is 30x40cm and it is fixed on a cardboard.
I scaned and edited it with Photoshop CS. I used the clone stamp, selective color (neutrals and black) and curves. I needed for this restoration 30 - 40 minutes.
I know the last step isn't really perfect, but I think that an old picture needs a little bit of patina.
